Hip hop producer Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young) is mourning the death of his 20-year old son Andre Young Jr.

Andre was found “unresponsive” by his mother at his Woodland Hills, CA home Saturday, reports the L.A. County Coroner’s Office. Young’s mother told police that she attempted to rouse her son at 10:24 a.m. on Saturday, and when she couldn’t, she called paramedics. They pronounced him dead at the scene.

Young “had been out with friends” the previous night and returned home around 5:30 a.m., according to L.A. County Coroner’s assistant chief. An autopsy was performed Monday and no foul play is suspected.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son,” Dre’s rep says in a statement. “Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”

The music star has four other children: 26-year old Curtis, 17-year old Marcus and 11-year old Truth as well as a 7-year old daughter, Truly.

Strokes
guitarist-turned-solo artist Albert Hammond Junior may not always look like the most well-kempt rocker, but that hasn't stopped him from designing his own line of men's suits. Hammond is working with stylist Ilaria Urbinati and will sell the line in Los Angeles at a store co-owned by actor Danny Masterson (of That '70s Show).
MLB getting instant replay
Wednesday 08-27-2008 9:59am

Major League Baseball announced yesterday that it will implement instant replay tomorrow. In a statement, commissioner Bud Selig didn't exactly strongly endorse the prospect, saying, "My opposition to unlimited instant replay is still very much in play. I really think that the game has prospered for well over a century now doing things the way we did it." The instant replay will only be used on what are being termed as "boundary calls," which will include whether potential home runs are fair or foul or if fans interfered with balls just over the wall.
